    Where to post 2wd frame issues?

    Thanks for all the input guys. I think we'll go with replacing at least the rear cross member. I'd rather have found a whole good frame, but this is what I've got, and I'm out of money. Looks like I may end up doing the spring perches too, as these bolts are rusted solid to the spring shackles...

    How do you heat your shop??

    I usually plug in one of those electric oil filled radiators. Works like a champ. If it gets really cold we rig a Kerosun heater somewhere near the middle of the center bay. Kerosene has gotten so damned expensive that it's cheaper to run the electric heater.

    Thanks for the feedback chevyman0191. Will let you all know how it goes. I'm leaving the hood on, as I'll be doing the rad/grill thing too. In the 40+ years I've been working on stuff, I can't believe this is the first chevy pickup I've ever changed an engine on. Go figure.
