    Code 67 is for the TCC solenoid or circuit.

    Take it to a shop and have them diagnose it as stated above. The shifts are controlled by the PCM with inputs from the VSS, Tach, TPS, ECT, MAP, and Trans Position Switch. The signals from these sensor are compared to maps in the EPROM then the PCM gives the requested command to the transmission.

    Usually it will have sealant on it but if not use Permatex 56521. Just a light coat will do as the sensor grounds from the threads to block contact.

    With the temp sender unplugged the gauge should go to zero, if you ground the temp sender wire the gauge should go to full hot. Exact same with the fuel sender.

    Your going to have to do a little more digging. Get a wiring diagram out for the instrument cluster and start checking power and grounds.

    My 97 K1500 5.7L 3.73 gears and 285/75/16's has trouble hauling an empty 16ft utility trailer. I run 70mph down the interstate in 3rd gear and it is a freaking dog. Going up a hill is like hitting a wall.
