246 to 243 swap

I swapped in a 243 in place of the np246 that came stock in my 1999 two door tahoe. But i cant get the trans to shift because i cant seem to get the VSSB to work. does anyone have any tips or has anyone done this swap with success?

whoops...

So i was following my buddies F-toy up the rock pile, had no probs keeping up untill my pass. side spotter failed at his job... The F-toy My drive line my drive line what a nice ride home the next day... ugh i felt so dumb.
