Anyone have experience with gmt800 trucks?

So I didnt take many pics once I got things together, but without an assistant to bleed I think i did a pretty good job (could tell it needs bit of a bleed but still good otherwise). The passenger rear I think im going t o spring for a new rotor and pads because the driver side is almost new...

Anyone have experience with gmt800 trucks?

it was given to me by my stepdad, 1) im cheap 2) I dont intend to artificially extend its life span (no frame off resto) and 3) it would be offensive (not in my eyes, but other peoples) to sell and replace the vehicle I was gifted.

Even with safety glasses the rust just falls in your face. As soon as I finish installing my outdoor hose I’m going to get the pressure washer and at least remove the flakes that are in such large amounts. It may sctually rust slower removing the rot like that lol

    Rev limiter

I found my own post by doing a google search on KKD0, if anyone cared to know, I did find out the knock sensor, as of 1996 so presumably all the years of the EFI 4.9, DOES do something. Detecting knock, it pulls 4 degrees of timing. Specifically, 4° between 1100 amd 3800 rpm at full...

now I personally dont care if you type all this, infact, power to you. Just realize your probably not catching social cues or sense the room well, as its being seen as a one way monologue from you to the others. If that doesnt bother you either, then thats fine. Just dont want to see you...

yet, there is no spanish word for engine. The translation just comes back as el motor YOu have to use other words , usually more than 3, to say engine without saying motor in spanish. basically, it doesnt exist!!!! Mexico went full EV before us! Jk lol.

    No fan clutch

so my 96 c1500 had the plastic one because it had AC(it also has a trans cooler but I dont remember if it was the upgraded cooling or not) I dont remember which one of these is a 96 (the other is a 95 C2500) I think its the top label because the L05 sounds like a TBI small block RPO

    No fan clutch

vortec engines should have a plastic fan with more blades (quieter, good flow) and a fan clutch that maybe is the same as yours but i wouldnt bet money on that, so it may need a different clutch too. this is a viable option if you have a junkyard and can find a clutch that isnt leaking and...

    No fan clutch

A 1994 silverado, to my knowledge, should have a fan clutch with a fan similar to the one you have so it may be the right one but you need the clutch in order to space it and mount it. Which means the through bolts seen above are probably hardware store as to be so long. So OP as long as...

OP on the left, ford (90s) on the right. Fans are similar but appear differnet enough but I cant be sure.

    No fan clutch

If it has no clutch it likelyt has a spacer to place the fan in the shroud properly. is there a spacer? Also, vehicles into the 80s oftrn didnt have clutches. My 1977 ford LTD had a direct fan
