14B Full float or semi float for economy?
I have a 96 k2500 with 350ci, 4l80e and SF 14bolt rear axle. 276,000 miles on vehicle. May be looking at an axle from a lower mileage 3/4 ton. I know the main differences between an SF, and FF. What I am not aware of is will a FF net worse mileage due to more unsprung weight? I have read...- cdub

Ignition Switch Replacement?
I have a 96 K2500 with 260k miles. The fuel pump is starting to go I believe. Sometimes when hot, after a short drive, the truck wont start. If I turn the key to the on position for about 2 seconds, then do it a few more times the pump seems to prime and the truck starts right up. So I...- cdub

Another Stupid Belt Question
I replace the serp belt and it is quiet for about 3 months before it starts to squeal again. It has new AC Delco pro tensioner and idler, new power steering pump, newer upgraded alternator (cs144 with appropriate belt) cleaned all pulleys with wire brush.
