okay ill do a search on it.. i may replace it anyway for peace of mind, im tired of trying to figure it out, id rather replace it all so i wont have to worry about going down anymore since this is my work truck that i need for business. weird thing is my check engine light has only came on...

i can find no vac leak anywhere. tried propane and tried pulling and plugging each vac line as mentioned by another member. now that its getting warmer outside the truck is running worse at stop lights and sometimes feels like it wants to die.. when it was 0* outside it would only cut out...

I'm assuming that it's good. I removed a throttle body and all sensors from a known great running truck to install on mine and it did not help.

Well I went ahead and purchased a ignition control module, new cap and new rotor while I was at it in hopes of it fixing it but it didn't. I sprayed carb cleaner everywhere and didn't pick up anything.

its only at idle no matter what gear.. you never ever feel it miss a beat when driving.. drives as smooth as can be but soon as you come to a stop it will idle okay for about 15 seconds then start to cut out and you see the rpm gauge drop a little. then idle will then strighten out for about...

can i get this tested with it being removed? or does it have to be on the vehicle? i have never messed with one before. and does the truck need to be warmed up when being tested since thats when its giving me issues.

Have a 1995 silverado. Auto tranny with the 5.7 TBi. The truck runs wonderful for about 10 minutes then all the sudden when you set at stop lights it will cut out then run okay for a second then cut out again. Like I said runs perfect until it warms up then it only cuts out at idle, once you...

the boy came to my house i was like man your truck is alot nicer and im going to have it fixed for under 400 bucks. i hid nothing from him i even told him like 5 times if i was him i would never trade for my truck and he wanted to anyway.. i always give everone the chance to see everything wrong...
