Help, cylinder misfire, rough idle, significant power loss
Did you ever get the miss to go away. Mine is driving me nuts. Started off with tire shop picking up my rig to swap the winters off drove it down the hiway 4 lo and destroyed the engine. New crate engine in the truck with a new updated spider new plugs wires cap and rotor. Old engine no problems...- dexshaw

The Stupid Engine Questions Thread
1996 two door tahoe 5.7 with 4l60e fresh crate engine. Tranny rebuilt 15000 ago. Tranny checked ok at shop. Since having spider changed truck jerks when torque lock engages at hi way speed is this coincidence or can a bad new spider cause this kind of problem. Thanx for any help. This problem...- dexshaw

answer to any 4l60e trouble
I hope I haven't missed this some where along the way but I am unable to find this problem in the tranny section hoping to get some idea as to what I need to look for. 1996 two door tahoe. 5.7 l 4l60e tranny has 15000 km on rebuild vortec is gm crate with 5000 km. when cruising on the hi way...- dexshaw

Hi guys. I don't know if my 96 two door tahoe driver seat is like the passenger seat with the easy access to the back seat. It is a 60 40 split. Passenger seat lever on back rest flips back forward and slides ahead driver seat only reclines ? Thanx- dexshaw

Ord is 4" of lift. The angle in the above pictures is what u want wont bind due to a poor sweeping motion. They ride just as good if not nicer than stock. Axle wrap is also the same as stock.
