Pretty happy with my summit 3 inch kit so far! (Larger plates added on top of cab spacers) I highly reccomend it, especially if you wheel. I do have a 4 inch suspension lift also, 35's don't rub.

91 Chevy Suburban 10 bolt SFA swap to 89 Chevy k1500 IFS possible

So this is one of the last year solid front axles for the Suburban 1991. I was curious if it was maybe a good canidate for a SAS for my truck to achive a more durable front end for offroad. The carrier is on the passenger side. Ive been kicking this idea around and ive heard a late 70's ford...

You caught me, they came in the kit for the front bumper..... But they were at hand for the rear. The rear can hold all 185 lbs of me stepping on it without bending or bouncing. The front holds my weight also, not as strong as stock but still strong, 4 bolts holding the front bumper, and 4 bolts...

Got my body lift last night, i did the bed lol... the top of the tailgate is up to my chin and im 6ft, now im gonna go onto the cab this morning, Everything went pretty smooth...ir took me about 2.5 hours by myself. I like the plate idea for the cab body mount! ill fab some of those up for both...

Damnit.....oh well, i guess its done with. :nono: sooooo, for my gap guards im thinking of just buying a cheap rubber sheeting bed mat for a truck and cutting according. They are a dime a dozen on craigslist, and it will give me plenty of material to work with. I got my eye on a 7.5 foot bed...
