Death wobble with all new front end.

It has Has new cv shafts, and as I said earlier the wobble went away with new balanced rims. It just has very slight vibration now.

Death wobble with all new front end.

Sure but they also miss the joy of climbing 6 foot tall mountains of snow in parking lots.

Death wobble with all new front end.

I also should mention my rear suspension is very stiff because it has all new high capacity leafs and a full length add a leaf.

Death wobble with all new front end.

I didnt pay too much attention to it because I figured the vibration was from the unbalanced wheels which I couldn't have balanced because there was a major snowstorm here so the tire shop wouldn't take anyone for a week. I'm actually not sure wether the u joint failure or the wheels were the...

Death wobble with all new front end.

My aversion is that my wife is going to kill me if I spend any more money. Also I prefer to do stuff myself. Also it didnt fall out completely it just detached from the pinion yoke. Was still in the transfer case and I was pulling onto the shoulder when it fell out, because of how bad it was...

Death wobble with all new front end.

the vibration is fairly minor now, I can feel it in the floorboard a bit especially at certain speeds when coasting , but not nearly like before. Interesting to note though right after I redid the u joints and reinstalled the driveshaft the wobble got way worse then after new wheels and...

Death wobble with all new front end.

The vibration is much less pronounced now but still there. The worst symptom of the wobbling was my wife complaining that the truck is gonna flip over I thought u fixed it, so luckily thata gone Would it be worth it to pull it and flip it incase it's out of phase since it literally fell out...

Death wobble with all new front end.

so what's my best bet just pull one from a junkyard truck, redo the u joints on it and swap it in. Because I'm sure labor on checking it would be more than that around here.

Death wobble with all new front end.

Just got the crappy corroded wheels replaced with steelies and balanced and it's much better now. The issue was that the truck would wobble side to side especially at highway speed , but thats gone now, now it just has a little bit of vibration felt in the floorboard (albeit less than before)...

Death wobble with all new front end.

I had a tiny bit of death wobble on my 2000 Yukon denali (obs), and then I had a u joint failure, driveshaft fell out on high way, so i redid the u joints and now the death wobble is much worse, only at highway speeds. It has all new front suspension and tie rods pitman and idler are good...

    Evo delete without removing pump.

I just changed the sensor out, since it was easy and I think I'm gonna put off the evo delete until next spring unless the sensor fails on me before that. It's definitely improved road feel with the sensor working properly and no skidding on ice feeling. When I do the delete I may look into...

    Evo delete without removing pump.

What blocks it coming off, just the exhaust manifold heat shield? I have a 3 inch body lift so I can see it from the side of the truck pretty good, if that's what you mean.

    Evo delete without removing pump.

People have said that can cause leaks or something. Plus how has that affected steering feel I'd rather have stiffer steering, I like to be able to feel the road.

    Evo delete without removing pump.

Is it possible to put in an evo bypass without removing the pump. If it is how do I do it. Otherwise I'll probably just swap the steering speed sensor.

Do I need a new body control module

Think it might actually be a problem with the door sensor not pressing all the way in because today it happens ed and I pressed the sensor all the way in and released and it turned off.

Do I need a new body control module

That would work for the radio but if the windows still go up and down I'm sure something else getting power would drain the battery.

Do I need a new body control module

Yea I think only the denali and the escalade had them.

Do I need a new body control module

When the box is plugged back in the radio stays off. It's odd. I have a flip up dvd deck so when I unplug the bcm it immediately shuts power to the radio and when its plugged back in it gets 12v constant but no ignition so it retracts itself and stays off. (I know this because that's how the...

Do I need a new body control module

Is that the same thing as 99.9 percent isopropyl, I have some of that laying around. Also the windows also will go up and down when this happens (when the button is pushed I mean, not like on there own or anything).

Do I need a new body control module

Have a 2000 denali (obs) and it has a peculiar problem where the radio often doesnt turn off when the ignition is off even after the door is opened. It will only turn off after the bcm is unplugged and plugged back in. I had replaced the ignition switch thinking that was the problem, but it...

Best way to prep and paint rusty frame.

I think I'm just going to do the acid wash and then use the cans of bedliner I have and coat it with krown and see how it holds up.

Best way to prep and paint rusty frame.

I'm now thoroughly confused. I have used 2 part epoxy on my boat, for fiberglass repair but never as a paint.
