    if you want to seal it next time look into dip armor....you can do pearls in the mid coat and then use dip armor and it will be protected from chemicals....standard plasti-dip will react to chemicals....i had a oil cooler line leak and the oil left discoloration in side the wheel well...also...

    so here all the details...just finished 1200 hrs of body work doing the wide body kit that i custom made myself...everything was sealed in 2k primer and wet sanded to 2000 grit...as far as the dip...the cost was about 1500 which included the pearls for the color and the advanced turbine...

    when lowering the front remove the bump stops ..when I did it I removed all the front end and rebushed it with polyurethane the shocks I use front and back are edelbrock factory height mono tube

    i did the swap and installed new springs at the same time...the ebrake cable for a long bed reg cab works with the extra cab short bed...the perches on the 14 bolt are shorter so a spacer or a couple extra springs will keep the same height....the difference is about and 1 inch+/-...use new u...

    to check the u-joints, you should be blocking the wheels and taking it out of gear with the e brake off..then check the joints for play

    they are factory bolts with factory header/collector gaskets...you might find something in the help section at the parts store

    I edelbrock shortys and replace mine every year with factory ones...use bolts with spring to keep the bolts tight all the time

    looked fine but might be stretched due to heat or the grooves worn to the point that the belt is not efficent

    No power to fuel pump

    you have to verify that the grounds are all in good shape...the fuel pump is grounded to the frame but the battery doesn't ground directly to the frame it grounds to the block ...and behind the pass side head it grounds to the block...make sure all your grounds are good

    I have the nv3500 with a Hurst shifter...it was less of a throw then the original but with modifications I was able to make it a true short shift...with out hitting your knuckles on the dash....all I did was to add a separate 120 degree bracket at the base
