    I don't see any reason that cable wouldn't work, looks fine to me, I don't know the melting point of that poly, but keep it off the headers and stuff like you would with any wiring and you shouldn't have problems.

    bingo. keep the 5.0 maintained and in good repair, bolt ons will just be very very minor change for what they cost. by the time you've paid for them you'd be most of the way to paying for an LS swap. just save up for what you really want in the end.

    he's right, gas, diesel, used motor oil, transmission fluid, kerosene, if it'll burn, it'll run pretty much. Military designed it so that when you're out in the field, you could run on whatever fuel was available.
