91 TBI 350 dies in flight

Took the distributor cap off, removed the 3 screws that hold the magnet to the top of the pickup in the distributor. The magnet came off in pieces. I bet that was the culprit. While I was in there I installed a new ICM as well. Fired right up and drove to work this morning with 0 issues.

91 TBI 350 dies in flight

I have a K1500 with the 350 TBI. It is not my daily driver but it does get driven a few days a week. The last couple times I have driven it, it dies with no notice at all. It has plenty of fuel in the tank and is running fine otherwise. The first time it did it, I was exiting the freeway and...

Best manufacturer for 6" lift springs?

I have pro-comp springs on the rear of my 91 K1500. They aren't 6" but I think they are 2.5 or 3. They seem to ride pretty good and load carrying capacity seems to be the same or better than stock. They also flex pretty good too.

    700R4 TV Cable Adjustment

that my be correct but there is a process that involves sliding the cable all the way in and then flooring the gas pedal or something like that. It adjusts the cable so it shifts different depending on how much throttle you are giving.

    Magnaflow opinions

I have a magnaflow 3" single in/2.5 dual out and it is dumped right before my rear axle with 2 turndowns. there is slight drone at idle but it goes away while driving at any speed. I don't really like the sound of it unless it is under throttle. The only reason I went with magnaflow is...

Steering problems. Can't figure it out.

tires can cause a pull as well. You could swap your front tires from side to side and see if it changes directions. If it does, rotate the tires to the rear.

    SAS Questions

If you find the correct transfer case it will bolt right up. You would most likely have to modify your shift linkage. I have not put a solid axle under my truck yet because I will not do it with anything other than a dana 60 and they are very $$. If I come across a decent deal that will...

    Fox Shocks on an obs?

Im sure if they came with a BDS lift kit, they should list them on their website with part #'s. For the price of the Fox shocks, I bet you could buy Bilsteins and be $$ ahead.

    Leveling Help

I have a 98 Yukon with t-bar crank and 2" rear block. It sits pretty level. I run 285/75R16 General Grabber AT2 tires on 16x8 Raceline 6 wheels. The only time it ever rubs is at close to full lock and hit a massive bump or dip. Other than that it never rubs

    Value of our trucks

Here in AZ I think the only reason gmt400's are sought after is because they are cheap and easy to fix. I have a 98 Yukon that my parents have owned since new and I have owned for 3 years now. I will be lucky to sell it for $3,000 and it is in pristine condition with 165k miles.
