    Update! I figured it out Schurkey, it was the intake manifold gaskets. Replaced them and it's back to running smooth. Thanks for the insight and help!

    I Idle speed is good in tune and at idle. I think I'll try a different distributor just to see what happens. Fingers crossed!!!

    Well Nick, I think I figured out the problem. When I installed the new deep pan, I didn't have the filter extension seated all the way into the pump hole.

    Make sure tps (blue wire on mine) reads between .5 and .59 with voltmeter and 4.5 volts at WOT with no dead spots while ignition is turned on but not started IIRC.     Update- I had the wrong spark plugs installed. Reach and type were wrong. Installed right ones and bam she purrs with great vacuum. Ignorant me grabbed the wrong ones for some unknown reason. We can't all be perfect. Next problem- High idle, I checked and checked and checked for vacuum leaks...
