Probably not worth your while as I doubt many guys care about this, but...
I have a '95 2-door Tahoe. I'm tall and I like the AC blowing right in my face, but the dash vents aren't able to blow that high. I'd love some vents that'd let me raise their aim some.

It starts fine in Park, I haven't tried a Neutral start in years. I think you hit it though.
This past Tue or Wed I tried to charge something in the lighter. At first I thought the gadget lit up but then it didn't. I was in a hurry so I used one of the power ports, and forgot all about it 'til...
Hey guys,
On my '95 Tahoe, the rear glass hatch release quit working when using the dash switch and the remote. A key in the tail gate lock is the only way to access the rear interior now.
Do y'all have any ideas? Is there a common fail?
Thanks,
joe
A friend, in the early '70s, had a V-8 [SBC] Vega.
At that same time, there was a kit made that put a SBC right in the middle of a '65-'69 Corvair. I've never stopped wanting one-- fast and nimble both.

I prefer using factory parts when possible, for my truck and for my bike.
10-12 years ago a man ran a light and hit my '01 Tahoe. I discussed the repairs with the dealer's repair manager. She told me which of the aftermarket parts that the insurance would pay for were parts she thought...
No, you're right. I realized, after I posted, that I said 'latch' when I should've said 'handle'.
LOL The handle is not actuating the latch. Better?
Thanks to all y'all. Clean, simple input from guys who've been there. Exactly what I was after.

Hey y'all, is there a common problem with the door latch on these trucks? A particular thing or two to check first?
The inner latch on the driver's door, over a week or so, got gradually worse. I had to pull it a little bit further/harder each time to open the door. It won't open the door at all...
This reminds me of a question I've wondered about for a while...
There used to be books that told you what parts would fit other vehicles, and what those vehicles were. Is that kind of info still available anywhere?

They look very handy to me, EXCEPT...
They probably aren't as strong as regular dykes. I think I'd try a pair of regulars with some kind of wedge underneath for hard pulls. Or maybe a claw hammer.

It's a saying, a poem even.
Back when some of us were young, it was a mantra.
You can bump compression, or (as stated) boost 'em, etc; but none of that replaces size. It compliments it.

Factory books are always better than aftermarket books like Haynes. Factory books are specific. Haynes type books are less accurate because they have to cover different products.
I think a factory manual would easily make back your investment in it.
