Intermittent spark on one cylinder

Thanks for the reply Garrett. Since its skipping a spark on only one cylinder, I'm going to try replacing the cap again. I didn't have a cylinder 6 misfire issue until I started getting the random multiple misfire which I assume was related to the fuel pump not being able to keep up with it...

Intermittent spark on one cylinder

Ok everyone, I need some expert advice. I started with a p0300 code (random/multiple misfire) and replaced a bunch of parts trying to fix it. I have replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor, and coil. Finally I got a fuel pressure gauge that worked correctly and found out...

Fuel pump check valve location

Thanks for the replies. I ended up replacing the entire pump and sender assembly. I didn't want to have to drop it again anytime soon

I think I have a bad check valve on my 97 k1500. I pulled the main fuel line going to the intake (to rule out a spider injector or fuel pressure regulator) and plugged it after the fuel pressure test port. I turn the key on and the pressure builds to 60psi and as soon as the pump shuts off, it...
