Some progress made. Frame extension welded and smoothed as well as the frame cleaned and painted. Donor cab put on bagged frame. All credit goes to Draggin95 for all the work done.

    Pictures of Y-Pipes

This is an old one I had for at 350. I have switched to a 454 but will be doing the same with it. The pipe crosses over just under the transmission nose cone.

Im running RE8 on mine. They rub on the bar when fully deflated. Mine also has a little different design. I got the kit when they first came out.

Draggin95 and I got a start on the teardown of the donor truck. We are going to start on the the frame soon to fix a few things and then start swapping parts over to the bagged frame.

    All clear tail lights

Looks good. The do look better on a white truck. I didn't think they would look good with my dark green truck.

    All clear tail lights

Interesting to know. The lenses have been sold. I really didn't think they would go well the color I am going to paint my truck.

    All clear tail lights

I really don't know what I want for them. The are the original Depot Brand. No cracks or broken pieces. Like I said. They just need to be cleaned. They do not have ciruit boards. Shipping is the other thing. I would have to package them very well so they do not get damaged in shipping.

    All clear tail lights

I was not sure where to post this question. But I am thinking of selling my all clear tail lights and was wanting to know how much they sell for? I do not need to sell them but was looking at clearing out my garage. They do not have any nicks or cracks. Just need to be cleaned.

    Project crew cab conversion

It's just around where we live, lifted trucks are the norm. Rarely do you see a lowered truck anymore. They are here in arkansas but you don't see them much.

Where can i find stamped VIN number on frame on 1990 K1500?

I have completely wire wheeled my 95 frame. The only place I have seen any numbers stamped into the frame is on the top of the frame rail on the passenger side near the front door. My frame is an extended cab. The only way to see it is with the cab off. I do not know what the numbers were...

    Sierra's Crew Cab Project!

One other thing I forgot. The middle cab mounts will need to be elongated out from the frame. The crew cab middle cab mounts sit further out from the frame than the extended cab mounts. I am not sure on the measurement.

    Sierra's Crew Cab Project!

The frame is stretched 13" between the middle and back cab mounts. If you have a 350 with 4l60e then you use the front part of your drive shaft and then for the back piece you use a drive shaft from a regular cab short bed as well as the correct u-joints. With different engine and trans you...

    95 suburban AC questions

I do use the rear a/c on my burb. The front alone for me is just not enough to cool that much air space. Sometimes I run just the front when it's not so hot outside. When it is really hot the rear a/c will cool the back down. My 95 is old and does not seal very well so the rear air is a...

    95 suburban AC questions

The newer a/c controls for the 95 do look different than the original unit. As long as all the connectors are they same and its for the 95 then you should be good. I have seen an adapter harness that allows you to use a 96 and up a/c control with the 95 but I have not been able to locate one...
