aftermarket grille ?

I can only say from my experience is to get all of the reviews and try some out. I saved a lot of money, and still got the look that I wanted. The grill was from eBay, but reputable, the headlights were spider, and the turn signal and side markers were some off brand. I get a little blow up with...

overhead console in standard cab

I think you should take the headliner out. Just my personal experience. It is super easy to do. You only have to take the front pillar covers off. I have a picture on my post with the roof exposed.

I retrimmed the condole in microsuede, which is what i used on the headliner and sunvisors.

Adding an overhead console was relatively easy. I went a bit further and added LED's to the backside of the one I installed along with resisters and a relay to dim the LED's when the headlights tuned on.
