Correct me if I mis-read anything.
So the reason you want to delete the return line is because the return fitting is broken off the sending unit?
The TBI has a built in regulator, it is designed to operate with a regulator, and the pump may have a short life if it is run with a regulator that...
I put a steering stabilizer on my truck and it seems to help with bump steer. If you don't have any bump steer problems, I can't imagine you would see any difference.
A bearing on the fan started squealing and seized within about 10 miles and I had to go back to the clutch fan. I never actually got much chance to test it.
Finished up the roll bar structure
Made a proper exhaust to compliment my headers
With a set of KYB rear shocks installed, the suspension and chassis portion of this build is more or less wrapped up. Car handles super. Now it needs more power.:driver: L05 block, vortec rods and valetrain...
The exhaust I had built off the factory manifolds has to go now that I have headers. My first attempt was a set of homemade mufflers.
The header flange and a short section of tubing with the flex coupling is my "permanent" exhaust. Then there are V-band turbo flanges. The idea is that I can...
I've done a few things on the car, but with school starting I am a little bogged down. I couldn't get the oil pressure gauge in my Intellitronix cluster to work properly. I tried a new sending unit and everything, so I just got an auxiliary gauge to mount on an A- pillar gauge pod.
I cut a...

Worked on the dash a little, made some aluminum plates to cover the former vent holes.
Made a radio pod.
I deleted cruise control, so I made a new turn signal stalk. I welded a length of threaded rod to the metal insert of broken factory stalk and put a chrome knob...
Made an exhaust. It's a 3 1/2" ebay magnaflow ripoff. I ordered a 2 3/4", but they sent me the wrong one. Fortunately, it worked great. It's a side exit under the driver rocker panel.
Got an AFR guage on and prettied up the exhaust manifolds. Ground off unnecessary metal, smoothed them and...
Put some stuff together. A buddy helped me bleed the brakes and we thrashed the thing together the rest of the way just to take it for a christening spin.
The shop lamp air cleaner and open manifolds were the key to victory.
Little bit of progress. I have been fixing the rusted out seams in the rear wheel wells, as well as a few other dinky things.
Founders strut mounts to replace the stock rubber deals.
Put in a kill switch for the battery.
These little clips for the brake lines have been my nemesis ever...
Accessories on. Took a trip to the junkyard for some goodies. Pulled a few of those fuel line quick disconnects off some European cars, braided plastic sleeve to put over fuel lines, weatherpack connectors, and radiator bushings.
Made a strut tower brace. Barely fits around a 14" air filter...
Engine is in
Fancy little throttle return spring bracket
Test fit the trans. Looks pretty sweet.
The subframe connectors make for a really convenient jack point.
