Can I use a LS NV4500?
On my 96 c1500 can I use a split case 4l60e in place of my solid case 4l60e? If so then what do I do about the exposed lower section where the inspection plate would go? It's got the Vortec 5.0. Thanks.- Jhampton1985

The real differences in 700r4/4l60/4l60e transmissions by year
I believe I have a '98 4l60e (2 piece)... can it work on my '96 c1500 that had a 1 piece 4l60e? If so what do I do about the bottom being exposed?- Jhampton1985
