Same issue with new 4l60e
Quick Question for you..... Amazon mentions it won't fit my 1998 but your signature has a 1998 and the original repair is for a 1997.....assuming nothing changed from 97-98 but just thought I would reach out to you and confirm - Thanks!!!- xXDatJustHappenedXx

Thermostat Housing/Bolts Question
Interesting post - Thought I would share that my 98 started an ever so slight tiny leak and figured maybe the water pump - nothing there around the housing then saw fresh clean bright green coolant around the thermostat housing - went to replace the thermostat because I figured the rubber gasket...- xXDatJustHappenedXx

Check Gauges Light
My 1998 Ext Cab 4x4 started the infamous "Check Gauges" during the first real cold morning at 20 degrees. Goes away in a few seconds or a minute worst case. Anything warmer than 30 degrees outside it does not even flicker. Gauges work fine and all within range. I will reseat the cluster back...- xXDatJustHappenedXx

Actually found out GM wired my truck for tweeters but never had them in the location (Maybe optional trim package with stereo?). Went to junk yard, bought 2 tweeters and plug and play in stock location;)- xXDatJustHappenedXx

How to: factory auxiliary trans cooler upgrade
Just completed this upgrade on my 1998 Silverado Ext Cab. It was born without the optional factory transmission cooler. Thoughts on Bug Guards
More sentimental value than anything as I am keeping this truck the way my wife's dad had it before he passed. I never was a big fan but I do like it on my truck. True test will be this summer towing the Chevelle to the dragstrip if the bug splatters are kept to a minimum.....- xXDatJustHappenedXx

1500 heavy half 14 bolt Qs:
Hey Guys, Went through a ton of searches and forums but just want to confirm. My 1998 K1500 4x4 Ext Cab has the 10 Bolt.
