    Brake bleeding w/ rear ABS

Tried this with the proportion valve yesterday. Didn't work—still no rear brakes. I installed new front calipers because the old bleeder valves were seized, and for $22/caliper, why the hell not. Spent the better part of an hour trying to bleed the front as well. Still need to resolve, but will...

    Brake bleeding w/ rear ABS

You would attach the fitting ends to the hose, than apply the end to the bleeder valve.

    Brake bleeding w/ rear ABS

Hey All, Tried pressure bleeding the system the other day. Started in the rear and neither side had any flow. Turns out I threw the prop valve right away, which triggered by ABS light. Now I have no rear brakes and need to reset the valve somehow. I've seen people delete the ABS, use a scan...

    94 overheating after radiator replacement

Yup, thanks for confirming my dummy suspicion. I burped it a few times the last two days. Did it again this morning, and it seems to be running cooler.

    94 overheating after radiator replacement

Hey there, My 5.7 silverado is overheating after putting in a new radiator. It holds pressure pretty damn good, and coolant levels are looking good. The gauge climbs up to redline, falls, climbs again pretty rapidly. Funny thing is, it never got past 180 before I pulled the old radiator...

    Hard shift from 2-1

Hey there. Searched and searched, but haven't see any issues related to downshifting. I have a 94 350 tbi with 224k. The truck shifts great all day long, except for when I try to downshift. Any time I downshift from 3-2 or 2-1, the transmission just hangs there at a higher rpm and I usually...

I'm running 235/60 in the front and 275/60 in the rear. I'm sure 255/60 in the front would be great, too. The backspacing is pretty aggressive, so I've had to roll the rear fenders a bit to minimize the rubbing.

    5/7 Belltech...Rear End Too Low

The rear tucks before the front when the truck is level. You can always throw a level on your bed to verify. Since your rear axle is flipped, adding a leaf would not raise the trick. Lowering blocks are added between the leafs and the axle to give you more drop.

    The Shock Thread

Aaah, I see. I didn't immediately think of that because I just replaced my street performance shocks with bilsteins, and they came off just fine in the front. Wonder if they changed diameter of the sleeve...

If you're talking about the top bushings, just unscrew the top nut and take them off, slide the shock up through the button of the arm, and place the bushing back on.

    The Shock Thread

I've got a 5/6 drop on my 94. I just installed Bilsteins and am pretty happy with them. I've learned to run only Bilstein over the years. Not as stiff as my 86 golf on coils, but it handles well enough for a daily. Since Bilstein doesn't specifically make a "drop shock", I did some digging and...
