    you usually know by looking at the bolt or nut if its going to give you grief or not. but i have not had any issues with busting head off or rounding corners. use the right size socket and never a 12 point.

    I have the M18 high torque ($249). The thing is a monster. It will out do the air impact I have. Make sure you have the larger capacity battery for it, it make a difference in performance.

    Test the ign switch. Are you getting power from it in the on position? I would start there and work your way down.

    I swapped both power lock and window into my 88. was a matter of adding the harness and plugging it into the convenience center. I did have the run the wires from the cad into the doors though. not exactly the same as what you are doing but a little insight.

    the frame rails have been smoothed and are pretty much ready for the frame plates. just need to run a 220v outlet on that side of the shop for the welder. In the mean time, I'm going to start stripping down the Dana 60 and get it ready for the truss.
