Please help! Think I messed up

I would greatly appreciate any help. I have 96 Chevy K 1500 5.7 vortec. I was changing the fuel pressure regulator and when I went to dig out the old fuel pressure regulator and screen from the spider injector I pulled one too many pieces out. The piece I pulled out looked like a metal screen...
