    Auxiliary driving lights.

I have the JW Speakers in my '93 Cheyenne, super easy install, look as close to stock as you are going to get, light is fantastic especially high beam, unique DRL, and the lens heater works great this winter in Ontario, Canada.

Any preferances on brand of wheel cylinders?

Not sure how much longer the OEM will last over the lower priced ones, but when my wheel cylinder went on my K2500 8600gvw, I needed one fast and got an aftermarket. When I went to change it, I noticed the leaking OEM wheel cylinder had a wider metal housing with very little boot sticking out of...

    Oil Fill Hole

I did grab one from the junk yard, 5 bucks and it threads in nicely. Now I have one question, and it might be very important. An oil cap came with the extension tube and when I tighten that cap and try and blow through it, it is tight. When I put my stock oil cap on the extension tube, I am able...

    1994 Silverado Freeze Plug Replacement

Advice to install a block heater might be because it is such a crappy spot to access and install a freeze plug. I know my block heater in the same spot was doable but I remember a bit of discomfort, probably easier with a hoist.

    Engine Temp and Heater

How is your antifreeze strength? Symptoms sound similar to what happens when your fluid in your rad, motor and lines is at the temperature where it's turning to slush.

    Cold Weather Starting

Thanks Kenny, It is supposed to warm up slightly in the next couple of days so I will get the fuel filter installed, try it, wait, then do the little gas to the TB and see if it fires.

    Cold Weather Starting

I should add that this 1993 truck has been doing this since the first winter in 2011 when it only had 20,000 miles on it. Today it has 63,000 miles. If an injector leakage can happen at any time, I will add it to the list, thanks.

    Cold Weather Starting

I have one more issue that has been bothering me for years that hopefully someone can help me with. In 2011, I bought a pampered 1993 Chevrolet K2500 5.7 that came from a fire department near Detroit. It had spent its entire first 18 years indoors and now for the last five years has been...

    Oil Fill Hole

That sounds like exactly what I was hoping for, I will track that down, thanks very much!

    Oil Fill Hole

A possibility and worth checking out, thanks! I do notice 5.7 is not listed, and the threads are not the same.

    Oil Fill Hole

I have owned an 89 K1500 and most recently a 93 K2500 Chevrolet with 5.7 engines for over 22 years and every time that I change or add oil, it occurs to me that somebody must make or I may be able to find in another vehicle, a short piece of filler extension tube that screws into the valve cover...

    Recommended Exhaust for Vortec 454??

I put the Gibson catback single pipe on my 93 K2500 reg cab 5.7 about 4 years ago. Nice gentle rumble, easy install, but at the time, I believe they were made for a K1500, so I had to get the muffler shop to put a little extra bend in a short piece of midpipe. Another positive is it's all...
