Carb to tbi engine
The motor i am purchasing is a 355 sbc. Forged rods and pistons. And has a 268 cam in it. Pretty lopey idle. In the truck it made 375hp. But i dont see why it wouldnt run with stock tbi top end. However if someoen can chime in on wether or not it will work with my tbi stuff let me know i can...- black lightning

If i ran the carb itd be a conversion situation and thats fine but down the road. I wanna pull the engine back out later freshen it up cam etc them stick with the carb Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk- black lightning

Also was curious about all my bolts on up front. Ac compressor, power steering etc etc. Ive got all the units and there brackets to fit the next engine so they should bolt up. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk- black lightning

Okay guys, ive seen alot of threads with conversions and questions from tbi to carb or lsx. My debate is about my 88 silverados engine. Its got a bad ring or two and smokes. Im still driving it till i kill it out at least but within 2 weeks ill be purchasing an engine. All the engines i want...- black lightning
