    As long as the ecm numbers match it doesn't matter. Your prom chip is what tells you computer the information on engine size, gear ratio etc.

    It's not just the computer but also the prom chip. You might have to get a custom chip ir get one from a junk yard. The prom chips are pretty specific. They have gear ratio, transmission type, engine size and other specifics. Try to find a truck with a stick in it and a 5.7 liter engine attached...

    Occasional Hard Starts and High Idle

    It may not be building oil pressure quick enough. When oil pressure is sufficient the oil pressure switch will close completing the fuel pump circuit allowing the truck to start. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

    Recover the refrigerant and pull a vacuum up to 27 inches for about 30 to 45 minutes unhook then let sit for another 10 to 15 minutes under vacuum to check for leaks. Then recharge and check pressures Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
