    the alignment shop says my front coil springs are shot. Does this happen often? I'm running a heavier cummins and have around 230k miles on my c2500. Does anyone have a coil spring brand recommendation?

    i get almost all my parts off craigslist or the junkyard. If its not there then you wait a couple of months and the parts will be on craigslist or the junkyard. Thats one of the best parts about having a common old truck. I'm also talking about the drop in bed liners not the spray on.

    That mod was one of the best things I did. I really didnt want to do it, but the next time I need access to the pump was great. I have a bed liner in my truck so I dont have to see the hole.

    before added a body lift, tint, painted the camper and added a roof rack+spare. killing time because i cant sleep. I think it will need some nerf bars after the body lift.

    thats my upgrade process. 1. is their gmt400 junk/part better than mine? 2. If yes, then go negotiate a price at the counter 3. If price is cheap then pull part 4. Now my junk is nicer than their junk! 5. move to next truck at the junkyard and repeat process

    my truck is totally junk, but has a new cummins and rebuilt 4l80e to push it around. I still love my CCSB and its simple to fix the other small stuff. I really hate the the doors hinges. I dont really know of any other major issues. my truck is good enough for who drives it.

    custom swap, trying to figure out the AC. I both plugs going to the compressor have 12v

    i've only been testing with the truck idling. I just charged the system right before testing out the sensor since I had the system open a couple of days ago. I'll see if the compressor kicks on when I drive down the road tomorrow. Thanks again for the help!

    its a 1999 GMC serria c2500 SLT that originally had a 5.7l engine. I found this schematic for a 1995-1998 gm truck, but I dont think its correct for my truck. I think I have 3 pressure switches. There is one on the back of the AC compressor, one on the accumulator, and one on the AC high port.
