Anyone know what the symptoms of a bad EGR on a 98 chevy k1500? My truck bogs when engine is cold then engine light comes on p0405. When it's warm no issues. Just want to make sure it's the egr a new one is $300.00- 99 clasic

Would anyone have a egr for a 98 chevy k1500 5.7 liter that I can purchase. Don't want to purchase a new one and still get the same problem. And there not cheep- 99 clasic
