It’s a blast to drive off idle from a stop it’ll spin 12-15 then hookup and go and pulls hard. Running 55 and kick comb on it it’ll jump to 80 in no time. So far no issues or other problems. Haven’t hooked either of my trailers to it yet.

Yes sorry for the delay 325 at the rear wheels the guy said that was probably 450 at the flywheel time it went through trans transfer and both drive shafts s d rear

Oh ok well fingers crossed lol. Just talk to the guys tuning it and they said they were about ready to put mine on the dyno. I’m like a kid the night before Christmas waiting for that call lol

Yeah I was really considering running a single plan intake and an elbow but figured it would cause a lot of added issues but would really make more steam for sure. Kinda hoping it makes more that 420 hp but who knows with that small cam and intake might be hard to do.

So I have Finally got it straightened out I think lol. I’ve put 350 miles on it and dropped it off at the tuners shop yesterday hopefully I’ll get to pick it up this weekend and really start enjoying driving it. After replacing the oil pump it broke another rocker stud. So I replaced all 16...

I’ll have to look up the specs to tell you exactly but it’s only like 513 lift it’s a towing cam from there computer controlled cam line. If I had to do all over I would’ve went with a more aggressive one

I built a all forged rotating assembly 496 with 10.1 compression, with a set of aluminum pro comp oval port heads and a comp cam thinking it should make some good power and torque. I’ve installed a set of Gibson stainless headers and custom 3 inch true dual exhaust

Sounds like a cool build. Any more info on intake setup ? I’ve git a 496 I built for mine and am running the stock efi setup and figure its going to be the limiting factor as far as making power goes. Great looking truck and good luck with the rest of the build

Well with the motor still in the truck and using an oil primer was unable to get more than 7lbs of oil pressure. I pulled the engine back out and found out the oil pump used was one you would run in an older 454 and not the one called out for my truck(short pump) as it’s called. Ordered the...
