    brake booster vaccum connector

    Was going to SeaFoam my truck and the vaccum connector on brake booster broke. Was being as gentle as I knew to be but still broke it. It's a $5.99 part at AutoZone so no biggie. But my question is, since part of it broke off and fell down into the booster, can that cause a problem or is it okay...

    posted yesterday about valve cover gaskets, but I got bigger issues than that. Started missing yesterday, so today I pulled the plugs and #1 plug was almost completely ashed over but it wasn't white ash it was tan colored ash. went ahead and pulled all 8 and two others were somewhat ashed up...

    Valve Cover gaskets replacement

    Need to change valve cover gaskets on my '94 with the 5.7 It looks pretty straight forward but is there any tips or tricks to make it easier? Looks like I'd remove the air cleaner housing, and PCV for sure. Any suggestions for anyone who has "been there and done that"? Thanks for replies.

    First time poster here...'94 Silverado with 5.7

    So glad I found this site! Here's my question. Has anyone removed the heat shields for the spark plug wires and not have issues with burning wires? I'll leave em on if it's really needed, but I want them suckers off if possible. Real pain to get wires on and off.
