    I have a 97 c3500 and was curious if a NBS 4l80 will work without anything crazy. 2wd to 2wd. Other than the obvious I know the LS has the extra bolt hole at the top of the bellhousing. just not sure about electronic wise or flywheel or torq converter. any input would be nice

    Thanks It was an old work. When I bought it, it had been sitting in a pasture for 10 years with the rear sliding window busted out. I had to gut the inside and pressure wash it. It’s come along way from what it looked like when I got it. Keep at it tho man. I love these old trucks.

    Head bolt torque specs?

    I have searched the web and forums for these specs and can't get an answer. The auto parts around me don't have a manual for my truck either. I've got 2000 chevy 3/4 ton with 5.7 L31. Does anyone know the torque specs or have a manual with them that they can give me? It would be muchly appreciated

    Glad I haven't ordered one yet then. Might get one later on jus to read codes and what not. I'll call tomorrow and see what some shops can do it for but do you know approximately what it will cost.

    Does anyone know if the obd2 scan tools on scantool.net come with the software to read the live cam timing to set my distributor? Or do you have to purchase the GM advanced add-on software for $80?
