    my 90 project

Haven't done much. Cut the dump off the muffler and extended the pipe to just in front of the rear axle. Cut down on the cab drone in a huge way, guess I'm out here getting too old these days lol. Also put some skinny whites and beauty rings on. Replaced bad tail light circuit boards again. I...

    my 90 project

Crazy thing is they really aren't even tow mirrors. They don't extend out, and the mirror itself is fairly useless. Doesn't see much. About the only thing they are good for is looking awful. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    my 90 project

Oh believe me, it's the very first thing on the list. I had 95+ mirrors on it. No clue as to why ANYBODY thought these were better. Maybe they were cheap from wish or something [emoji1787][emoji23] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    my 90 project

Here are a few day time pics of the ol truck. Haven't don't anything with it yet other than fill the bed with some trash I need to get hauled off. I'll start working on it again sometime in the near future, have a motorcycle I gotta sell first to get some funds up. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL...

    my 90 project

Holy thread dig... But, I suppose it is acceptable this time. Guess what? Bought it back Friday night! Aside from some ugly mirrors it's exactly as it was when I left off. Looks like we can resume this one fellas! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    Well, here I go again...

So last night i found a temp solution to a major inconvenience i have with this truck. So when i bought it the rear fender wells were bent in... a lot. When i lowered the truck i had to cut out a big portion of both fender wells. For months now I've been just rolling like that which aside from...

    Well, here I go again...

Finally got the rear brakes sorted out on my truck. Replaced drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and all springs/hardware. I wish it were a tale of immediate success but sadly that's not the case. The old drums wouldn't come off without an epic battle. Then there was a system bleeding mishap. And...

    Well, here I go again...

Was gonna do the rear brakes on my truck tonight but couldn't get the drums off. No doubt the shoes have worn a groove in the drums at this point. Tomorrow I'll grab a hardware kit so can bust off the stock shoe retainers and get them off that way. Hopefully it's just being difficult and the...

    Well, here I go again...

Couple pics I took from the brake job on the c2500. Truth be told the rear probably didn't need shoes since they still had plenty of meat on them. But, we were already there, and already had the parts. The rear weren't working very well and I figure it was the adjusters causing most of that...

    Well, here I go again...

Not much in the way of updates. I did recently help my gf dad with his truck. It's the blue c2500 that makes it into pics with mine sometimes, it needed new brakes all around. We did new pads and rotors up front, then full rebuild in the rear (shoes, cylinders, hardware etc) in exchange for my...

    Lowering question

the control arms and spindles together will put the control arm pretty close to the ground depending on your wheel and tire setup.

    Well, here I go again...

Well finally get to make some progress with this ol truck. Been working on a front bumper tuck in my spare time lately. But more importantly finally got a flip kit ordered. Picked up 2 inch shackles and shorter shocks last night. Once the flip kit gets here I can finally get out of the nose...
