JB5 to JB6 conversion question

hello. recent events are forcing me to replace my 10 bolt rear axle. its a 95 K1500 4WD short bed. i want to upgrade to the 14 bolt, semi float, 6 lug axle. i think the 14 bolt axle has the JB6 brakes yes? & as i have JB5 brake system, will i need all new brake lines & master cylinder? front...

on the fence, whether to hydroboost

i got a 95 K1500. its in excellent condition for a 21 year old truck from jersey. i think its the most solid vehicle i ever owned. but the brakes blow, & its even worse because my front pads are spent. need new fronts. so i can get new front rotors & pads from my guy, installed, for only 150...

can i drop a 454 into my 95 K1500 4WD without a new drivetrain?

hello, newbie here! just got a 95 K1500 4WD with a 350 V8. Its a RCSB 5 spd manual. Its the perfect truck for a 454! does anyone have experience swapping a small block with a big block? I know i will need a bigger radiator, fuel pump, engine mounts, among other things, depending on the engine...
