    Ok so I found out it is the catalytic converter. There is a vent or some sort of opening underneath it and that's where the exhaust is coming out. The truck seems to have the same amount of power. So I guess my next step is to replace the cat, just worried if anything got into the muffler...

    I have stock exhaust and it appears to be in good shape, its all there and I do not see any holes or places where pipes are unhooked...The truck was running quietly and then instantly became very loud. Any ideas? I don't think manifolds would go instantly?
