'97 ECSB 5.7 Vortec exhaust flange leak

Over the last week or so, I noticed a leak in the connector flange gasket. This is the strange shaped double-pipe flange connector directly after the cats. I removed the old one, scraped the remaining gasket as well as possible (including a sharpened chisel) from each side. I couldn't get it...

Truck camper recommendation for '97 C1500

I'm trying to find a truck camper but I'm not sure how limited I am weight-wise. Truck is an ECSB w/5.7 Vortec, 4L60 and 3.73s on 32' tires. I've found a few smaller ones (no bathroom which is fine). These seem to run 1100-1600# dry. I'm sure 1100# shouldn't be a problem but will 1600#...

Hey all, pretty new here. I've been reading up on the GMT400s here after picking up a rust free '97 Silverado. 5.7 Vortec, 225K miles. 4L60E, 3.73 limited slip. Trans was rebuilt with B&M kit. Intake gaskets have been replaced. 3" cat-back exhaust which sounds great with the windows rolled up...
