    Tool Warranties... Who cares?

I have Snap On ratchets for home and work. No questions asked when warranty repair or replacement is needed. These rarely break. Other than that I have harbor freight sockets, craftsman, stanley proto, S&K, snap on. Never an issue with any of it.

1995 Silverado K1500 ECSB Starcraft Conversion

About $500-$600 for a good bed. Hard to find those not beat to hell though. Lot of burbs and Tahoe's in the yards. Same front clip. Buy a whole truck out of the newspaper, bring it home. Take what you need, and sell the rest. Up there, you will get more for it than we will down here. Down here...

    my 1994 silverado

So years ago I did some auxiliary interior door panel indirect lighting on my silverado. I used green 12V LEDs and lit up the door panel pockets, and back lit the door pulls and wired it up to the dash lighting. It's just a nicety that nobody notices except at night. Anyhoo I am doing the same...

So y'all want to here a funny? Well here it goes. Those who have been following what has since become a journal of sorts here on GMT400 know about the hit n run on my wifes impala a few pages back. Well between a ton of overtime before Christmas, I finally was able to get stuff taken care of...

    88-98 Bucket seat alternatives

Drove my wifes 2015 chevy impala today. The buckets are pretty comfy and have a nice adjustable lumbar. That car is listed in the Katzkin leather seat inventory. I can get the seat covers for it, and doll them up in a 2 tone grey to match my 94 Silverado. I may be taking a junkyard trip soon...

    Keep your OBS

And dont get me started on spider injection on the OBS, because that's junk too. My 94 has dead reliable 2 shower head TBI. Who the heck thought plastic tubes in a hot environment on an engine would be a fantastic idea to carry fuel? Pull that crap off, install a 4 bbl intake, a F.A.S.T. EFI...

Build of my ‘88 RCSB C1500 owned for 20 years

I had to do something similar when I put an electric fan on my 94 and ditched the factory shroud. I used a piece of .050" stainless steel

    Keep your OBS

Lighter colors on GM cars and trucks fared better than the darker colors in the 80s. I remember the ole GM paint cracking trick on the darker colors. I worked at a GM authorized body shop back then fixing that mess under warranty. Mostly grey, burgundy, dk blue and black. It would have all these...

    Keep your OBS

My 94 has been dead nuts reliable for 29 years. Only left me stranded one time in 29 years with a bad ignition module. New and improved ain't always true.

Cutting and gluing on tile is done. I just gotta do the grout, edging, towel bar, and install the plumbing parts. Going to put large 1/4 round at the top. And peel off the dang popcorn ceiling crap. Then my crappy teenager can get out of my bathroom. Probably by this weekend. Yaaaay !!!
