Transfer case stupid question thread

i have a 93 k1500 with a manual trans and tcase. im doing a body lift on it. whats the best way to disconnect the transfer case linkage? do you just pop off the rubber grommet?

I just have a couple questions. any advice is appreciated heres my setup for reference. Right now i have new torsion keys which brings my front up about 2in and i have 2in blocks in the rear. Im putting on a 3in body lift next week. I just want to rnn 33"x 12.5" tires. Im going to get new...
