    Thanks for the comments, I wanted to keep it as original as possible as far as cosmetics go. Plus I bought that grille in 96 from GM, so it's oem. The interior is like new, everything is original except for the seats which are out of a 98 Tahoe. This truck had buckets from the factory too.

    How many have done it, and which one did you use. I bought the AC/Delco upgrade for my 98, very nice unit and easy to install. Noticed a little better throttle response.

    I have a 98 GMC Z71 also. Did the change and it took about 6 hours, but I let it set for 24 hours to cure. Did a friend of my fathers in about 4 hours. Not a bad job to do at all, just alot of wires to dig through Very nice, complete write up
