    Im not even sure what year this particular tranny came out of. I know its not an 'E' as there is no mega wire harness on the side. The only thing I can see is an abandoned plug on the drivers side with 2 wires just hanging. My first assumption was that this was for the TC.

    Run the chromies, then put some plastidip on the insides to break it up a bit. Best of both worlds. Nice thing about plastidip is you can just peel it off if you don't like it. My Ultras are starting to peel so I am considering this route myself and have looked into the plastidip.

    Not at all actually. Maybe the night pic isnt that great and out of focus. There is a selection switch so I can go back and forth between blue and green. I also have the brightness turned way down because at full its obnoxiously bright.

    I know I don't have your dash, but this is how I did mine. Having the whole rectangle all white was too much for me. I overlayed the chrome ring piece over the white face and made the needles red by scraping off the coloring on the back with a razor blade and applying red nail polish.
