Dick Cepek factory installed lift?

I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 1995 K2500LD that the owner was told that GM did 150 of these Dick Cepek lifts. I haven't found anything on the factory doing this mod for there production trucks. This is the first time I'm hearing this. The only factory off road package they did was the Z71...

Temp gage reading wrong temp.

I have issues with my engine temperature gage. barely gets above 100 degrees. I have changed both sensors and instrument cluster. I hear the fan engaging occasionally but to no avail, gage doesn't change. It does move, so its not stuck. Any Ideas?

SLX...Whats different then a SLE?

I have been wondering about a Sierra SLX for sometime now. I have a guy that wants to show me hi SLX today and he wants to see my ride. I just don't know the difference between them. Both mine and his are manual. Basically, looks the same.

NV4500 Parts and Upgrades

Whole lotta (mirror) shake'n going on.

I have noticed a trend with the door mirrors shaking. My uncles did and even when he changed them to a newer style they shake. I replace the same style of mirrors he had cause mine where always coming loose. Now I have sport style with turn signals in them. I am absolutely fed up with the...
