well, my ´98 Tahoe does same thing - i.e. security light always on, starting fine, running fine. Stiill, how to fix it?

´98 Tahoe - lost gears.

Can anyone tell me, is tranny from 97 Trailblazer 4x4 compatible with 98 Tahoe? Codes on label: 7TAD 24201579 7TAOY18038?27 It has split bellhousing and 6 bolt tail connection.

´98 Tahoe - lost gears.

OK, thats what happened - drove ca 100miles to car show, last 10miles tranny started slipping, lost OD, then 3rd, 2nd, 1st, some amount of fluid poured out from breather tube. No gears at all. Next morning - looked fluid level, was high, get normal when started engine(so pump is working). Fluid...
