You are correct - hit the rotary knob but what is goofy is it isn't clear where it drops you in at (I think it is at the Album level) then you have to 'back' up to the artist level if you want to change...

    I have been busy, like most people :-). I am curious about value of units like the edge vs what an old phone and a bt obd reader can provide… just seems odd to ‘permanently’ mount a phone in a vehicle…. Hope others weigh in! Cheers!

    Thanks - I hope this finds you well. I will be changing the front end to go back to a black grill insert and incandescent turnsignals. The LED turnsignals don't defrost in the winter - no heat :-)

    Agreed - but of what ? The door switch plungers such that they give a false open and energize the lights? Or the relay itself - both are possible and difficult to reproduce/test :)

    You may have given me something to try - my interior lights come on when it gets below -10C. Been a 3 year mystery. Maybe one of the 'relays' is afraid of the cold ... :cool:

    Question - can someone tell me if the Alpine head units are significantly different in terms of performance - ie UTE73BT against the HD149BT - is the 73BT just a mech less 149BT? Does Alpine's numbering sequence imply better specs in the 175 vs the 149 vs 73? Thank you

    In my experience, 320 kb/s is tolerable but I can still hear noticeable improvements when using flac files. Even with my poor performing stereo and aged ears in a loud vehicle. Good source material makes even poor hardware sound better :-)

    This is one of the better ones of Das Boat, in my opinion - I am not very proficient at managing info on this site so I keep things simple and post as required/requested. Someday I'll document the journey I have had with this truck :cool:

    I'll add my limited experience - disabled VATS with HP Tuner as the security light was starting to stay on but I had no starting or driveability issues. After disabling, my security light stays off.
