    Battery corrosion

    My son's car (2014 Challenger Hemi) gets so much corrosion on the positive battery post connector it eats the bolt in half. This has happened twice in the past 4 months. Didn't happen at all the previous 2 years. Could it be the battery is getting overcharged ? Thanks for any advice.
