Plan to put stock tow hooks and valence on it when I find some at the junkyard. It had a crappy brush guard on the front when I bought it that was bolted on where the tow hooks would be.

Gave the 97 Burban a quick wash the other day. Need to get some new OEM style lights for the front next.

The center caps are GMC, the PO just covered them with black vinyl. They are py0's.

Thanks, it's pretty clean overall. The interior is pretty rough, so I'll be replacing the carpet and the front seats along with a few broken/missing trim pieces. Got lots of upgrades planned for it though.

Picked up another Burban yesterday, 99 K2500 454. Had been parked under some trees for the last 6 months or so. Was able to get it washed after work this evening, but it needs a lot more cleaning up, both outside and inside.

Towing truck on car hauler with High Mileage Yukon

As everyone has said, put it in 3rd and leave it there. Let that small block rev, it can do it all day long. When I'm towing on the highway, I'll run 70mph at 2,800rpm for hours at a time. Not great for gas mileage but better for the trans than shifting in and out of OD.

My Burb tows my rock crawler a couple times a month.
