Those wheels, mirrors and valance weren't specific to only the 454ss. A Sport trim had them as well.

He probably thought you were referring to the black step side in the next post. The one that nobody on this forum would mistake as a 454SS

    stuff that catches my eye

I showed this to my brother last year. He drives a Kia Soul, he had no idea his car had STOL capabilities lol

It's not 12k fun, but it would be a cool little toy. At maybe 1.2k lol

The Chevelle was a midsized car though. If anything it's more akin to the Malibu unfortunately. The Cobalt SS is more like a Nova or Chevy II.

    Pizza Cutter Tires 235/85R16 Pics?

I honestly don't remember putting a block in the back at all. If anything it could have been a 2" block. Gotta remember this is a 2wd truck. The 4" spindle would be equivalent to cranking the Tbars on a 4x4.

The little town I live in is the site of the First commercial oil well in North America. That is part of the Oil Museum of Canada's displays.

Here are a few other views, they honestly filled out the wheel well on my 2wd truck just fine imo.

    New truck.

The Covid deals is what got me into the last truck and out of a truck I swore I would keep. I had an 18 RCSB Sierra and the dealer offered me more than sticker, which was already way more than I paid (this was back when you got incentives). Long story short, I ended up trading it for a 6.2 Trail...

    New truck.

I honestly always forget about the Titan, and a friend of mine has one. Another friend only buys Tundra's, swears by them. But he also only leases them. I like the new one, the old Tundra was very dated to me, but it goes the same with the ecoboost. Working a turbo 6 in a fullsize is not an...

    New truck.

Haven't done anything but put diesel in it. 3/4 done a 5000km road trip to the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. Trucks been averaging 10.9l/100km (21.5mpg) with one tank at 9.4l/100km (25mpg)

    New truck.

I have followed this truck since the beginning. It's a 67 C10 on a shortened LBZ chassis. With 6.6 LBZ and Allison. He swapped to a Super Duty front axle. A lot of people get on him for using the 6.6 Duramax and not a 12valve cummins. Those guys that make fun of the build are the type of guys I...

Got the Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights installed. These helped out a lot on the Trail Boss at night, so they should do the same on this truck.

No body lift, they just sit that high. The running boards mount to the cab anyway, so they would move up and down if a body lift were installed. I believe Ford put extra long mounting brackets on the Super Duties, because of how big they are. From what I've read, you can swap them with a set...

Have you seen the ball joints on 60 and 70s mopars. Talk about horrible design. And none are the same. I've been waiting three weeks for lower BJs for my 73 Newport, so far the first two were wrong, fingers crossed the set I'm waiting for now is correct. The could have at least designed it so an...

    New truck.

Ford took money, they just did it a year before and took it a different way and didn't have to pay it back. Think of it this way, the government made money off GM, because they paid the money back with interest. But they lost money on Ford, because they gave them grants to develop the ecoboost...

    New truck.

The only reason I went to Ford was the regular cab. It's what I wanted and I couldn't find one with GM, especially in a diesel. I would have preferred the GM as the IFS would ride better on longer drives, but this thing has everything I wanted, except heated seat and steering wheel (but being a...

    New truck.

I would second guess the 3.5. A buddy has one and while it had the same power as the 6.2 in my Trail Boss and got decent fuel economy empty, it suffered immensely when towing. Both our trucks could get 11-12l/100km any given day. But when we would tow up north with comparable trailers, he would...

    New truck.

Today I started to install a new dash cam. The fuse taps that were supplied were the wrong kind. Ford uses Micro2 and Mirco3 fuses now. And the hardwire kit came with mini fuse taps. Nobody around here has them for I had to order a set off Amazon, thankfully they'll be delivered tomorrow...

There is attitude across all the brands. Every brand has it's fanboys, and in my experience those are the same guys that know very little about even their own brand let alone others.
