Tried buying a larger alternator for my truck, was unable to install the 140A alternator due to a different bolt pattern that didn't line up with my bracket. Since I don't have the necessary tools to make my own bracket, does anyone know of a place online where I could purchase one? Or for...

Ok, so while I agree that ultimately this would be the best option, I would rather not pull a perfectly good 5.7 with zero issues and drop 5k. Also, no one has offered any links for where I could buy one of those engines or offer any explanation on how easy or difficult it would be to hook it up...

Power or mpg? Well give me the run down for both. Is getting 20+ mpg on the interstate even possible? Because if not dropping a bunch of money for an additional 5 mpg isn't worth it.

Why would swapping be better? I read a book called "How to build max performance Chevys on a budget" and the author did it with reworked heads and cams he pulled off a junker. I would perfer to bolt new stuff on instead of doing a swap but like I said above I am interested in why that would...

Ok so for the rear speakers, how much mounting depth do we have in a 1995? The 6x9's I have picked out are roughly 3" deep while the 4x6's I had picked out were 1.6". Do the plastic columns that cover the speakers sit off of the speakers? If so how much and would it make up for a possible lack...

My new system, need your input

Would you guys recommend me going with a different size than the 4x6 speakers? If so, is there a size that I could fit into that hole without having to do too much modification? For example, could I just buy another set of 6.5" speakers and just drill in new holes for mounting in place of the 4x6's?
