    TBI 350 jumpy timing

I was around it enough, it didn't move, but I should triple check it. Thanks for the input though, maybe someone will read this in the future and have an Ah-Ha! moment!

    C1500 Disc Brake Recommendations

Stock solid rotors and high quality pads (like from EBC, Stoptech, Hawk, Wilwood) are the way to go. I have some carquest ceramics and they are good enough I can't justify upgrading. What you picked out looks good, however, These might work better and are cheaper...

    TBI 350 jumpy timing

True, I was just watching one a few mins ago actually. Doesn't look too bad at all. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

    TBI 350 jumpy timing

Did some more testing. This time with the timing wire still connected, idle the timing was all over from 16 degrees to 20 degrees. I heard the ecm controls that at idle and some moving around is normal. However I then revved it to about 2000 rpm and watched the timing hold steady but then...

    TBI 350 jumpy timing

Truck has had a rough idle for a while now, but other than that, it ran well. Recently, it begin to idle so poorly that it would barely run and would stall. Diagnosed as a bad EGR valve, valve was stuck open with bits of something. Replaced EGR valve & solenoid as well for peace of mind. After...

Okay great mine's a C2500 w/ the 9.5 so it should be fine. Thanks again, don't know why I couldn't find these a week ago.

Pre-Bent or OEM replacement brake lines?

Nice man. Is the truck you put them on a 6 lug or an 8 lug?

Colorado2500's 1989 C2500 ECLB Build (The Little Big Truck)

Yeah it's a good truck, but not for what I need. I'm not sure yet what I'll get, a lot depends on how much I get for my truck. I'm thinking about a smaller SUV of some kind with good stock capabilities, aftermarket support, and preferably a manual trans. Ideally a K5 Blazer or a Jeep wrangler...

Colorado2500's 1989 C2500 ECLB Build (The Little Big Truck)

Well it's been a while since an update, but the truck has been fine besides being the absolute worst winter vehicle. And then this happened: Slid down this snowy trail sideways while out sledding with my roommates, completely high-centered it. It was out there for 2 days, we tried digging it...

Well I hope that won't happen! I like the Energy parts a lot too, it's quality and handling is much better. Definitely the way to go when replacing stuff.

I just used the Energy Suspension kit for my truck, I didn't see any size options for mine.

Yeah, good luck, I tried liquid wrench everywhere on mine too, but it was probably inside one of the joints and I could never get it.

Heh, mine was doing something similar. It would creak and squeak every time I turned the wheel or hit a bump, and I could never find where it was coming from. Replacing everything seemed to fix it haha

Whew, got it all done and back together this last weekend! This was my first time doing this kind of job, and damn, it was a pain and it took forever.. Some pics of the process: Just needed a Dana 60! Maybe one day... All back together, just needs aligned.

    colorado offroading?

Yeah I scratch mine a lot offroad but my paint is rough anyway. The body is pretty straight though and I've managed to keep it that way. Out in the dirt I'm mostly limited by traction and ground clearance. I've started to avoid places where those might be an issue though.

    colorado offroading?

Haha can't let 2wd stop you man! I've definitely taken my truck places it doesn't belong, but it's sketchy having essentially 1 wheel drive and a long wheelbase.

Colorado2500's 1989 C2500 ECLB Build (The Little Big Truck)

Well damn, I rounded out one (so far) alignment cam bolt washers when was taking my pass upper control arm off. Finding one locally might be impossible, so does anyone know if it's possible to just wing back together for now and replace them later? I kind of doubt it, but otherwise I'm a bit...

    colorado offroading?

Colorado 2500 here, I like dirt road exploring more than anything else since my truck is 2wd and very long. I'm over in Grand Junction though.
