    Hellwig rear sway bar

There are numerous versions of "hell wig" style helper springs out there. My question is are you goin for load stability or handling? My work truck (c3500) has a set of helper springs do to the amount of tools in the utility boxes and it was a straight forward few hour install

So I finally got around to pulling the rear monster leafs out of the truck and went with a shackle flip. Turns out my truck is too heavy for the stock 1/2 ton springs so I picked up a set of stock 3/4 ton springs. So hopefully get those swapped out and then the rear should be dialed in!

These are the brackets I used. I know they are pricey but if you don't want to do the fabbing it's a good alternative http://dezertlighting.com/products/88-98-chevy-gmc-obs-50-radius-mounts?variant=6442267393

30" LED Bar Install + Pics

Those custom brackets look good. I went with some brackets I found online. A little thin and pricey but got the look that I was going for. Still have to do that wind noise mod

On long trips my 14 bolt steel diff cover retains the heat so the gear oil boils out the vent tube. So I pulled the trigger on some aluminum diff covers from WFO Concepts! Had to match so I got one for the 60 too.

Okay not much has changed this year on my truck. Just installed a headache rack. Goin in the direction of work/wheeler direction now. Finding I need 4wd and I can't justify $50k+ for a 4wd utility bed truck lol

    k2500 SAS

I have an old ORU kit. It's served me well but I'm leaning towards redoing the set up with 52" long springs or even coil overs. The real question is what are you after? If money isn't an object a 3 link or radius arm set up would be smooth as butter. Just my .02 lol

I got both of mine on Amazon. The bracket is a little pricey but worth it if you don't have the tools to fab some of your own

Dezert Lighting is the company that makes these brackets. It's the same design as Bro Industries. They only make them to fit a 50" or 52" curved light. If you go with them let me know because they have no directions and the customer service from Dezert Lighting isn't the greatest. If you place...

    Water Temp Switch Issue

No mine is literally between the 100 and the first tick mark. I'm stumped because it's not making any sense. Tomorrow I'm gonna check the thermostat just to be safe. I installed a new one 2 months ago when I did a coolant flush and replaced the hoses

    Water Temp Switch Issue

So after a long drive home over the weekend I got home and unloaded the truck. About an hour later I had to go to the store and noticed my gauge was at 100 and never moved. Started off with the basics. Ground out the wire and the gauge pegs out so I said bad sending unit. Bought two the one...

Okay new year is here so time to knock out some projects. I have lots of plans for the truck this year. One project requires some input. I want a light bar for the front bumper, I plan on a custom bumper in the near future, so question is 20 or 32 inch light bar?

more info on a sas what parts do i need to start collecting?

You sound like you have it under control. Just make sure the Dana 60 is from a 78-79 f350. If you go with a newer axle the spring perch is too wide and any tires over 35 will contact the springs at full crank

    SAS shocks question

Easiest way to figure out is flex it out and measure the mounting surface of the the shock from frame to axle and get the extended length and collapsed and then go hunt for shocks

    Questions on Traction Bars

All traction bars bind up leaf sprung axle since the axle wants to swing back naturally and two fixed traction bars only go up and down. Now if you go with a torque arm like the off road guys use it mounts to a swing shackle that allows the axle to move as its intended. WFO sells one that has...
