9.5 14 bolt to 10.5 14 bolt

So my 2000 k2500 has 4.10's in a 9.5" 14 bolt and I'm looking at swapping out for a 10.5" 14 bolt out of a 1994 k2500 diesel. It's got 3.73's, not sure if its got the factory locker/posi unit or if it's an open diff. I've searched and can't find any info on this swap. Will I need a conversion...

Terrible mileage

So I've had my OBS CCSB for a little over a week now, and it's getting terrible milage. And I mean terrible. It's a K2500 5.7L/4L80E with 4.10's but I should get more than 180 miles to a full tank of gas. The truck starts very easily, has no codes stored and the engine light is not on. It idles...

Question about production numbers

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but does anybody know how many GMT400 Crew cab short boxes were built? I've googled and couldn't find anything. It would be really neat to see roughly how many of each cab/box configuration were built.

Hello, ANOTHER new guy

Hi, I've been lurking here for about a month, buying a K2500 crew cab shortbox next Friday. I've got to fly halfway across the province, spend two hours on a ferry and drive 10 hours home with it...but yeah. I'm upgrading from the 1994 sonoma 4x4 I've been driving for 9 years, hoping the k2500...
