Whats the problem
I have a 1996 k1500 with new 383 vortec engine. Trucks starts up, runs but under throttle throws p0300 code. After it warms up 5 to 8 minutes, it starts to sputter and die. It does this consistantly after it warms up and usually around 1500 + RPM. New fuel pump that has key on 60-66 psi. Runs...- snipersm7

Engine explosion
I was towing a 6,000lb trailer, transmission would keep downshifting to 2nd and the engine exploded. The man I brought the truck from just put a new 5.7L vortec from summit in the truck. It blew rod caps I believe through the oil pan. Any ideas on the best company to buy a new crate engine. I... -

4L60E
1996 4L60E with 15,000 miles on a rebuild. Trans with shift into forward gears, will shift into reverse. Rpm will drop, but it will not back up unless I mesh the throttle. Then it will back up slow like the trans or brakes are dragging???? Fluid looks good, proper level and not burnt.... It...- snipersm7
